Accommodation and Travel

Please note that the University of Warwick is NOT in Warwick city centre.
Warwick University campus is located on a green-field site 3 miles to the
south of COVENTRY city centre and train station.

Please note also that all delegates are responsible for arranging
their own accommodation for the duration of the conference.

You will be sent a full list of hotels and guest houses in the local area upon receipt of your
registration form and fees. The following information may, however, prove useful:


A limited number of rooms are available on campus for full-time postgraduate students.
These should be booked directly with University Accommodation Services (+ 44 (0) 1203 522 280).
The cost for a single student room is currently £11.50 per night (room only).

For convenience, delegates without their own transportation are advised to stay in Coventry,
Leamington Spa or Kenilworth as these towns have public transport links direct to campus.

A guide to the small but picturesque town of Kenilworth (3 miles from campus)

The conference organisers will provide a shuttle-bus service from Kenilworth to campus
each morning and evening of the conference (please indicate clearly on your registration
form whether you will require this service).

The University is also very close to Coventry city-centre, which is well connected to the
campus by local bus and taxi services. There are also regular bus services from Leamington Spa
to campus (departing from the Parish Church every 30 minutes, journey time 25 minutes)
