The use of Virtual Reality allows students and researchers to explore items and places that are to fragile to handle or simply no longer exist. VRML, the standard for Internet 3D, provides a platform to allow collaboration and discussion about a model online.

This VRML reconstruction is based on Izenour's graphic restoration of the Bouleuterion at Arriasos. This small Hellenistic building discovored by Lanckoronski had a curvilinear cavea, seating 250 to 300 and was accessed, front to back, by a single centre aisle. (View VRML Model)
